Wes was born and raised in Calgary. Wes turned professional at the 2000 RBC Canadian Open. He has competed on the PGA Tour, European Tour, Web.com Tour, Sunshine Tour and PGA Tour Canada. Wes has played in two major championships. The 2001 US Open at Southern Hills and the 2011 US Open at Congressional. As well as six RBC Canadian Opens. He has represented Canada at the 2000 World Amateur, the 2007 World Cup with Mike Weir as a partner and the 2008 World Cup with Graham Delaet. He is a four time winner on PGA Tour Canada, as well as a six time Alberta Open champion, most recently in 2018.
Wes has been teaching full time since 2016. Over many years of playing at a high level he has developed a unique understanding of what it takes to play at that level. He specializes in helping serious golfers learn to approach, think and play the game more efficiently to reach their goals and play at their highest level. He strives to help students enjoy golf as much as possible through understanding their own game and getting the most out of it as they can. |
